Oman Air will start operating flights from its hub in Muscat to Guangzhou, China, from December 9th. Guangzhou is Oman Air’s first destination in China. The launch of the new route is in response to significant customer demand also demonstrates Oman Air’s commitment to continuing it ambitious network expansion programme, first unveiled in 2014. The new destination opens up easy access to Oman Air’s outstanding range of choices for customers from China, in addition, the flights will further help to strengthen political, economic and social links between Oman and China. Oman Air will run flights to Guangzhou from Muscat on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using its wide-body A330.
Bank Muscat Chip and PIN debit card distribution
Bank Muscat has stepped up the distribution of Chip and PIN debit cards to customers across the Sultanate. The initiative heralding the future cards in Oman is in line with the Omani government’s ambitious eGovernment project. In view of the nation-wide transition to Chip and PIN debit cards, the bank has made extensive arrangements to ensure that all customers receive the new cards. The bank has already communicated to customers through SMS, informing them of the requirement to replace their old debit cards with the new Chip and PIN cards. Customers are required to visit the branches and collect the new cards. Packed with an array of features and benefits, the new Chip and PIN debit card is designed to make everyday transactions easier within and outside Oman.

MRM offers for winter vacationers
Welcoming vacationers for the perfect wintry getaway, Millennium Resort Mussanah (MRM) unveiled new package offers and activities designed to give guests a one-of-a-kind Omani winter experience. Lasting till the 30th of April 2017, the new offers will allow visitors to enjoy the scenic Batinah coast and all of the resort’s attractions for lower rates. Starting at RO49, the offer provides guests with a one-night stay, dinner and breakfast for two. Shell Oman inaugurates deli CAFÉ
The new deli CAFÉ, which is Shell Oman Marketing Company’s foray into the branded coffee business, recently took off when the new deli CAFÉ at Mawaleh South Shell Service Station was inaugurated by Asada Harinsuit, Shell Vice President of the Retail Business in the East Region, in the presence of Mohammed Mahmood Al Balushi, CEO of Shell Oman, as well as other Shell representatives. deli CAFÉ features a range of hand-crafted hot and cold beverages by coffee baristas, fresh sandwiches by deli chefs and pastries with in-house baking facilities. Customers have access to free wi-fi, mobile phone charging stations and added drive-through for the convenience of customers on the move.
Telal Al Qurm Real Estate opens sales to new townhouses
Telal Al Qurm Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of the Kuwait-based Alargan International Real Estate Company, recently held a media tour of the townhouses component of the Telal Al Qurm community, the fourth component of the overall project currently under development. Held at the newly launched model townhouse, guests were given a tour of the layout and design of the new 46 townhouses that the company has started constructing as part of the Telal Al Qurm community, a residential and commercial district consisting of 164,900 square meters of land in the popular Qurm area. The townhouses will consist of two rows of 23 townhouses each, in addition to a Community Clubhouse facing a 2,500 square-meter park and recreational amenities including a gymnasium and swimming pool.

The narrative of the campaign captures the beautiful relationship between a grandfather and his visually impaired granddaughter as he tries to decipher colours for her through emotions she can experience and comprehend. The 12 short films capture the journey of the two across the Middle East, each featuring a distinct landmark and geographical landscapes ranging through deserts, wadis, creeks and beaches.
National Day Celebrations at Aster Al Raffah Hospital
