Sundus Rotana has announced that it is in the final stage of preparations to open its doors in Muscat this November. Bringing decades of hospitality expertise to the Sultanate’s capital, the new upscale 4-star hotel will augment Rotana’s presence in Oman as part of its ambitious expansion strategy in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe.
Expressing confidence that Sundus Rotana will be an important addition to Oman’s hospitality offering, Mark McCarthy, General Manager, Sundus Rotana Muscat, said, “Oman is a burgeoning tourism destination with tremendous potential to equally attract visitors who are seeking nature and culture and business travelers, thanks to the government’s long-term infrastructure investments and nurturing business environment. We are excited and proud to offer our guests a new home in Muscat and look forward to creating treasured memories for them.”
Located just minutes away from Muscat International Airport and the landmark Oman Exhibition Center, Sundus Rotana Muscat will boast 215 rooms and offer residents and tourists the Rotana legacy of culinary excellence through three signature restaurants including the Lobby Lounge café, Ginger all day dining and a fusion fine dining restaurant Teatro. In addition, the hotel will also feature six flexible meeting and conference rooms with an elegant ballroom, as well as a state-of-the-art Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club, to name but a few.
The new hotel is the second property for Rotana in Oman, after the opening of Salalah Rotana Resort in early 2014, bringing up the total number of Rotana keys in the Sultanate to 615.
